Hi

I know there's a selection of symbols somewhere in Excel - I just can't remember where?

for eg, a letter 'a' with 2 dots above it, appears as an up arrow when a certain font is applied to it

so....where are the symbols?????????????

i must have an old version of excel here at work...shame really

You can also type -->charmap<-- into the run command (Start -Run) and a character map wll open
