I have a macro that does the following.
1-Runs a Query to put a table of events in date order
2-Goes To the last record (eg last date)
3-Goes To The Date Field

This all works.

I now want it to remember this value for later use.

I'm guessing I need to use a TempVar but I cant figure out what expression to use.

Any Ideas??

Excel Facts

Difference between two dates
Secret function! Use =DATEDIF(A2,B2,"Y")&" years"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"YM")&" months"&=DATEDIF(A2,B2,"MD")&" days"
What are you going to do with this value/variable?

The idea is that it remembers the date and can then create a record for the following date.

Am I going about this completeley wrong??

You can use a DMAX expression to get the latest date.
Or you can sort descending by date, and just take the first record using a Top 1 query.
You shouldn't need a macro to retrieve the date for you.
