Textbox form unavailable

I'm using 2007 and I want to use the forms Textbox but it is dimmed an unavailable. I also noticed the Combo List and Combo Drop Down is dimmed out. The rest of the components in the ToolBox are available. I want to use the TextBox on the worksheet. Is there a setting or something needed to make this available to me?

That is one of the benefits of using Microsoft products. You don't have to make decisions about which one to use, they do it for you. In the xl2007 version, they did, for some unexplained reason, disable a couple of the original worksheet controls and sort of force you to either use the ActiveX controls, or, in the case of a text box, a shape. You can use a shape in much the same fashion as a forms textbox.
