Textbox format is UK but in cell becomes US, Why?

Hi There,

i have this code I found here, and i used in my userform.

 Me.docRec.Value = Format(CDate(docRec.Value), "dd/mm/yyyy")
 Me.docFor.Value = Format(CDate(docFor.Value), "dd/mm/yyyy")
 Me.shptEta.Value = Format(CDate(shptEta.Value), "dd/mm/yyyy")
 Me.tenUplan.Value = Format(CDate(tenUplan.Value), "dd/mm/yyyy")

on the userform it is fine, the dates are received as UK format, but when it is transferred in the cell, the format becomes US

I checked my control panel and it is set to UK.

Any advise please.

Where are you using that code?

Where's the code to put the values onto the worksheet?

Isn't that where the problem is most likely to be?

One thing I think you should try is using DateValue when you put the values on the worksheets.

Range("A1").Value = DateValue(docRec.Value)

Thank you! Now it is transferring the date into the worksheet just as how it is entered in the textbox....
