I am working with tides and want to know the tide height at a certain time of day. I know the time of the high tide and low tides; in this case, there are two of each. I have searched and searched for a model to figure this out. So for example:

Time tide

5:16 2.1 ft
11:25 7.9
17:43 .8

I would like to know the tide at 10:00.

And what is the model behind it? Is there (supposed to be) a linear relationship?

I don't think I have enough information for this forum because I have not figured out the model itself. It is supposed to look like a bell curve, see attached. The Excel sheet shows three different ways we have tried to find the curve, but the formulas are not working. The last one under the chart (which is supposed to show up in this sheet but is not) is the one that creates a linear model. Kind of a mess, just trying different things. So again, no sure that I have enough information. Are you able to see the formulas within these cells?
