Time Calcutlation in excel

i need held reversing this process

i have this in place to do create this

=TEXT(A1/24,"h \h\r m \m\i\n")

but now i want to make a revesal tool that will tell me the decimal equivalent of this

2hrs 12mins = 2.2
ie.
___ hrs ___mins = decimal

but for the life of me cant think how to do it
i also need to create an input mask so that they can input the hours and mins.


Any Help is Very much appretiated.
 

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
Try multiplying your time value by 24.

You'll see something like this....
