I am using a form to have employee's clock in and out but I just found an issue, I am using =Time$() as the default value. This works well if the form is just open but if it sits for a length of time that time sticks there until the form is refreshed. If the form is left open at 3am and left until someone comes in at 6am and scans their badge it will say they started at 3am. Is there a way to fix this?

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Don't use it as the default value. Put it in the form's BEFORE UPDATE event

Me.ControlNameHere = Now

That will then get the right time.
