Time missing in Column

I have two data files. In one the time is showing in the column "Time". In the other file, the column "Time" is there but there is no time shown. When the transfer from one system to the other took place, the time did not advance to the other data file or was probably deleted by mistake.

I have both files on my system. The incident # of the original file (A) and the incident # of the cleaned original file (B) do not match exactly. Some incident #'s on (B) have been deleted. But the ones remaining in (B) need the time place in each row, where the incident # in (A) matches incident # in (B).

Can you wirte a formula for this? I am not a techy but can follow directions.

I am using Windows 10, Excel 2016

Thank you

If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
Hi Red... you can use a vlookup formula for this... something like =VLOOKUP($A2,[File1.xlsx]Sheet1!$A:$B,2,0)... you will need to change the cell reference, File1 to the actual name of your first file and the column index number (2) depending on where time is... if you can insert a table with the columns of the first file we can craft a worksheet function that is more accurate, even with error handlers.
