I have an Excel workbook with an external data range from an Access database. Everything has been working fine until today. When I try to refresh the data I get the error "Too few parameters". I understand what the message means but the query has no parameters at all so how can there be too few!
Has anybody else come across this strange behaviour or can explain why it is happening. I can run the query that the data is based on in Access without being asked for any parameters.
SOLVED - I couldn't get to the bottom of this but was able to solve it by building a totally new query in Access (even though it was the same as the original query) and then using the new query for my external data in Excel. I'll put it down to a Bill Gates opportunity for improvement (aka bug)
