When I trace dependencies with the keyboard short cut- sometimes I need to press ctrl + [ , and in other workbooks its ctrl + ] (right bracket vs left bracket)
Does anyone have an idea what could be the reason for that? and how to fix?
Thanks

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
ctrl + [ should be precedents, are you sure you are not confused?
Yes I’m sure.
usually it is ctrl + [. But in some cases its ctrl + ]. I thought maybe the language affects, but it’s not the case..

Alt + M + D as three separate keystrokes is an option for a workaround.

I wouldn't imagine Keyboard setup to be an issue.
