Transfer of data

I'm new to this excel stuff but have been given the task to transfer data which uses a specific word from 1 spreadsheet to another. For instance, a list of groceries in sheet 1 contains the word soup but I need all the soup to be transferred into sheet 2. Is this something that can be done without copying and pasting?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
