I have a database of 2 years worth of hourly pricing and I need to go from

preformat.png

to

postformat.png

(The above pictures only represent two days I need a solution that can be applied to a much larger data set)

I am taking any suggestions right now from macros to H/Vlookups. Ulitimately I am trying to have a pivot table thats row labels go "Year"->"Month"->"Day"->"Hour".

Any other solutions to achieve this are welcome as I am a noobie with pivot tables and I know what I don't know.

Cheers,

AJ

Spell Check in Excel

Hi, AJ

Can you post sample data using the method in the sticky thread at the top of the page?

At the moment, I only see some place holders and no images. Probably only a setting where I work, but maybe the same for some others too. So, I have no idea how the data is structured or what is required... Given that no-one else has replied since the question was asked, perhaps a few others have the same problem.

regards, Fazza
