Hey guys!

I believe this is a tricky one. I tried quite a lot of things but without achieving what I was looking for. Hopefully, you'll be able to help me with this one. This is the situation:

I have a cell with a percentage, that will always move between 0 and 100%. In another cell, I have the reference percentage (between 0 and 100% too), that I should use for the conditional formatting in the first cell. So, the reference percentage will be the middle point to determine whether the gradient color scale (in the conditional formatting in the first cell) will shift between green and red.

Any thoughts?

Thanks, R.

Excel Facts

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
I suggest that you update your Account details (or click your user name at the top right of the forum) so helpers always know what Excel version(s) & platform(s) you are using as the best solution often varies by version. (Don’t forget to scroll down & ‘Save’)

Is it something like this where $G$5 contains the reference percentage?
