I have a column [Is Even] that has TRUE or FALSE values in it. I am trying to create a new column with an If statement in it. If [Is Even] = TRUE then "1" else "2"

But I cannot seem to get this to work.

I tried replacing TRUE with 1....... nothing seems to work

Help Please.

Excel Facts

What does custom number format of ;;; mean?
Three semi-colons will hide the value in the cell. Although most people use white font instead.
If [IsEven] then 1 else 2. Schould be enough. That is when that column is defined and logical. Else it's maybe seen as text.

Solution
Have you tried:

Excel Formula:
=--ISEVEN(A1)
