Hi all

The following routine puts scroll bars on the textboxes in the arglist.
It bombs when I try to use the curline property. Does anyone know why?
(I am trying to have the scroll start at the top)

Gene Klein

Code:
Public Sub SBturnon(ParamArray arglist() As Variant)
    Dim i      As Variant
    ufEventsDisabled = True
    For Each i In arglist
        Me.Controls("textbox" & i).ScrollBars = fmScrollBarsVertical
        Me.Controls("textbox" & i).MultiLine = True
        Me.Controls("textbox" & i).Enabled = True
        Me.Controls("textbox" & i).SetFocus
        Me.Controls("textbox" & i).SelStart = 0
        'Me.Controls("textbox" & i).CurLine = 0
    Next
    ufEventsDisabled = False
End Sub

Excel Facts

Which lookup functions find a value equal or greater than the lookup value?
MATCH uses -1 to find larger value (lookup table must be sorted ZA). XLOOKUP uses 1 to find values greater and does not need to be sorted.
What if you try setFocus just prior to the CurLine = 0 statement?

Code:
Me.Controls("textbox" & i).SetFocus
Me.Controls("textbox" & i).CurLine = 0
