I have entered the word january in a cell A2 when I select this cell and get the 'crosshairs' I drag it down and it immediately populates with future months february, march, april, etc.

How do I get the month january to repeat january instead of incrementing the months. I know I can just use copy paste but I am trying to see if it cone be done this way.

Excel Facts

Repeat Last Command
Pressing F4 adds dollar signs when editing a formula. When not editing, F4 repeats last command.
Right click on the cross hairs, hold, and drag down. When you release the button select Copy Cells.
