Type...End type help!!!

Hi,

Can anyone help me understand the Type...End Type block..
what it actually does.... and where and in which scenarios wew use it.
Also for "Lib"...
I actually have some code which i am trying to understand has these Syntaxes in use.
Or if anyone can provide me any gud link where these are discribed in detail.

The Type statement is used to define a data type containing one or more elements.

Lib is used with the Declare statement to declare references to external procedures in a dynamic-link library (DLL).
