I have created an UDF & saved as Excel Add ins. This file is later added in my add ins list.

By doing this I am getting my UDF in the list which appears as I start putting my function in cell directly started with "=" sign. This is working fine in Excel 2010.

But,

As I try to do the same thing in Excel 2007, this list doesn't appear. I have to go to insert function option >> User Defined & select the function from list.

Why this is happening & how to solve this problem so that the functionality in Excel 2010 will be available in Excel 2007 also.

Excel Facts

Enter current date or time
Ctrl+: enters current time. Ctrl+; enters current date. Use Ctrl+: Ctrl+; Enter for current date & time.
You need to register the functions - see Jan Karel's article here.
