Union Operator issues

I just had Excel 2010 installed on my new PC and it is using curly brackets as a union operator in formulas rather than the traditional commas. Does anyone know how I can change the union operator to commas?

ie. CONCATENATE(A1{B1{C1) vs. CONCATENATE(A1,B1,C1)

Thanks

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Hi
Welcome to the board

That will happen if someone changes the default List Separator character in Windows.

Check the windows control panel:

Control Panel->Region and Language->Formats->Numbers->List separator
If its value is "{", you'll get what you posted.

Please check, and if that's the problem set it to a comma.

Remark: the path to the List separator may not be exactly how I posted, depending on your windows version, but find the List Separator in the regional settings and check it.
