Hi all,

I have protected some of the columns and a sheet of a EXCEL with a password. Now, the unprotect option in the TOOLs menu is not enabled itself. Also in the Format menu--> Cells menu also not enabled.

How would I unprotect my sheet now?

Thanks,
Senthil

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
You could try a macro like this (change password to the actual password)

Code:
Sub help()
ActiveSheet.Unprotect password:="password"
End Sub
