Update shared Excel sheet in realtime

Hi,

I'm just looking for advice at this stage any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. We have a schedule running in Excel within our company which our admin team use to book time slots for our drivers. At the moment it it running on 1 machine and it is down to 1 person to take the incoming calls and book the jobs into slots.

Is there anyway of sharing this file so other members of the team can update it aswell in real time? The problem we have is that when we tried to share it previously 2 members of the admin team were able to book into the same time slot as the spreadsheet had not updated in time.

It's possible to share a workbook, but I wouldn't recommend it. See:
