Hi Guys:)

Is it possible to update multiple sheets of data if a certain Value is contained in that worksheet.

I need a code which calls the Value( Document Number) and then be able to update a cell to the right in the same row. But each sheet the value will be in a different row.

Im a rookie at vba and userform and everything I try does not work.

Anyone please help????

Excel Facts

Return population for a City
If you have a list of cities in A2:A100, use Data, Geography. Then =A2.Population and copy down.
Hi petaaalouise - Hopefully this will help get you started. The code below places the word "found" in the cell to the right of the word "Louise" if found in the range A1 to B50. Good Luck.

Code:
Sub petaaalouise_search()
'Search the range A1 to B50 in worksheet "petaaalouise"
    With Worksheets("petaaalouise").Range("a1:b50")
    'Look for the value "Louise"
        Set c = .Find("Louise", LookIn:=xlValues)
        If Not c Is Nothing Then
            firstAddress = c.Address
            Do
                'Offset(zero rows and, 1 column)
                c.Offset(0, 1).value = "found"
                Set c = .FindNext(c)
            Loop While Not c Is Nothing And c.Address <> firstAddress
        End If
    End With
End Sub
