Is there anyway a vendor selling a spreadsheet can offer updates to clients-
without clients losing their data when updating?

Thanks,
Ken

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.

Sure. However, your update routine will obviously need to account for the location of current data in the previous and the location of the same within your updated version. This assumes that the existing structure of the workbook will be changed. If it is a code update, the data should not be touched at all.
