Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
50 different workbooks you mean?

how many worksheets in each of the workbooks contain the dat you might want to rearrange, is it always the first worksheet or a worksheet with a particular name in each workbook?

Can the files have columns with headers that are not in your list?

Thanks for reply Mr. Andrew,

I do have colums header... like QS-001, QS-002.

etc..... but that are not in the order... like for example...

i have a file that contains data from QS-005 and QS-009, in column 3 and column 4 respectively, what i need is QS-005's data should go in column#5 i.e. E and data from QS-009's data go in column #9 i.e.Column I.

Hope this make sense...

Regards,
