Kind coders,

I am developing a user form for a shared workbook in order to standardize row entries from multiple users.

Ideally, when a user needs to make an entry into the workbook, the user would click on a button, the user form would pop up and the user would populate the various required information; and the new entry would create a new row below the previous row entry.

My first question is, if there are multiple users for this shared workbook, is there a way to reserve a line for a new row/entry as a user completes the user form? In other words, if there are two (or more) users trying to make an entry at roughly the same time, is there a way to ensure the same row is not used for two (or more) entries?

Secondly, can I put all "blanks" to be completed on one single user form (i.e., name, account number, address, etc.) or would I need a separate user form for each blank?

Lastly, is there a good resource for creating user forms? Because I am presently just using the automatic 'help' function within the VBA screen and I'm kind of struggling.

Hope you can help,

Derek

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Actually, that looks like it will answer my other questions, as well.

Thanks, Daddy-O, and g'day!
