HI folks.
I have a opening form where the user can select from a series of buttons for what they need to do.
Under each button is a new form where they enter username and PW.
If all is in order they move to the next form/screen.
That all works a treat thanks to some help in this forum.
My problem is when the next screen opens the first field on the new form is the name of that signed in person. Unfortunately it always shows the last person. If you close that form and reopen it again the new users is shown.
I think the problem is I am opening the new form faster than the user name is saved in its table. I have tried on current txtUser = 'The filed from its table'. I tried on load and I tried before update. In each case it always shows the last user and not the current logged in/signed in user. As I say close the screen/form and reopen it and it shows the updated user. Any ideas how to get the current txtUser to show without closing the form and reopening it?
Hope this makes some sense to someone.
look forward to some ideas.
david
