I am trying to use a Drop Down List to Call a Macro, but using the drop down list to select a value is not activating the macro. Only deselecting and then re-selecting the cell where the drop down list is located (i.e. $D$7) activates the macro.
Here is my code:
The value selected through the Drop Down List, in $D$7, has no relationship to the Macro (i.e. ApplicantDataLoad) itself. The value selected is a variable used in the Macro. I would like the action of selecting a value from the drop down list to activate the macro.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance for taking a look.
Here is my code:
VBA Code:
Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
Application.Calculation = xlCalculationManual
Application.ScreenUpdating = False
If Target.Address = "$D$7" Then
Call ApplicantDataLoad
End If
Application.Calculation = xlCalculationAutomatic
Application.ScreenUpdating = True
End Sub
The value selected through the Drop Down List, in $D$7, has no relationship to the Macro (i.e. ApplicantDataLoad) itself. The value selected is a variable used in the Macro. I would like the action of selecting a value from the drop down list to activate the macro.
