using VBA to access web sites with passwords

I am looking to reduce my workload by using VBA just to access a web site, get the data i am looking for and paste it into excel (maybe with a few more things in xcel) but that's the basic idea. Is this pretty easy to do?

Are there web sites that won't allow this?
