Hello

I have written a phone bill checker that sorts my phone calls by company, tax, charge etc....

But when I copy & paste from my online phone company. The excel formulas do not recognise the data.

When I enter the data over itself (same numbers) it works just fine. I have tried PASTE & PASTE SPECIAL but nothing seems to work.

Any Ideas???

Is there a shortcut key for strikethrough?
Ctrl+S is used for Save. Ctrl+5 is used for Strikethrough. Why Ctrl+5? When you use hashmarks to count |||| is 4, strike through to mean 5.
Hello:

try multiplying the data that you import to excel by 1 and putting that value into a cell adjacent....the formula maybe be looking to see a number rather than text....

In an adjacent cell try using the VALUE worksheet function e.g. B1=VALUE(A1)
