Values in a drawing

I want to insert a drawing from autocad, and have attributes in the drawing or someway of when you fill out a series of cells, it updates the drawing with those cell values. For example, it would be a picture of a wall, and one cell is 'hwall' which is used in the spreadsheet as the height of the wall. I want the drawing I insert to update with the 'hwall' value in the drawing. This make any sense?
