VBA Auto_Open .exe

Hi All

I have an exe file located on an online server, is it possible to have this automatically downloaded and open whenever the excel file is opened?

The excel file I have follows daily stock tickers and the exe file is constantly updated also.

If this is possible thanks in advance.

If you put the code in the Workbook_Open event of your Excel file, that code will run whenever the file is opened (assuming they allow VBA/Macros to run).
