VBA Automation Error - Multiple "Thisworkbook"

Hi All,

I am very much confused by this error. I have a user defined function in my workbook. It runs fine usually however when I open my workbook an error is displayed "Automation Error" I click ok and it enters debug mode on my UDF. if i make the udf refresh it works fine. My UDF is in a module.

This in itself is annoying but not the end of the world.

However what is worse is that everytime this happens it copies all of my Excel Objects in VBA and turns them into Thisworkbook style objects which i cannot remove (i'll try add a screen shot).

Does this make sense to anyone?

How can i remove the automation error?

Thanks,

Ashley

Excel Facts

Create a Pivot Table on a Map
If your data has zip codes, postal codes, or city names, select the data and use Insert, 3D Map. (Found to right of chart icons).
Hard to be sure without seeing the UDF code, but it sounds a little like workbook corruption to me.

Hum, good thinking.

I'll copy my UDF and worksheets into another workbook and see if the error repeats.

Thanks
