Good Day,

I am using a vba sub to Save the document upon close.

For example code below:
VBA Code:
Sub ExitExcel()

    Application.DisplayAlerts = False
    ThisWorkbook.Save
    Application.DisplayAlerts = False
    Application.Quit

End Sub

When I run this code upon close; Excel automatically provides a save pop-up upon my sheet stating that it is saving and where the document is being saved, despite the fact that I'm trying to deny the display alerts action from happening.

My question is how do I prevent an automatic pop-up response from Excel?

I assume that I need to
VBA Code:
Declare Function

But I am unsure about what to actually do.

Does anyone have any suggestions??

Thanks!

Excel Facts

Why are there 1,048,576 rows in Excel?
The Excel team increased the size of the grid in 2007. There are 2^20 rows and 2^14 columns for a total of 17 billion cells.
This command will do
VBA Code:
ActiveWorkbook.Close SaveChanges:=True

or simply
VBA Code:
ActiveWorkbook.Close True
