Hello,

i am trying to get VBA to open a template i have made to do a mail merge from Excel. When i open the Word Template normally it comes up with a message to confirm data source as what i set it.

But when i open the template from excel i am having to manually set the data source again.

Code i am currently using to open the template:

Code:
Set wordapp = CreateObject("word.Application")

    wordapp.documents.Open "file:///C:\Users\Annie Business\Dropbox\New folder (2)\Invoice Template.dotx"

    wordapp.Visible = True

How can i over come this ?

Help appreciated.

Regards,
