Hi all,

I am using a standard code to by pass the save changes prompt but instead of saving automatically and closing, the save prompt shows and when I select Yes, its prompts again and again. By only selecting Cancel will it disappear.

Any suggestions how to fix this? Or what may cause this?
Many thanks

Code:
Workbooks(strSourceWorkbook).Close SaveChanges:=True

Excel Facts

Round to nearest half hour?
Use =MROUND(A2,"0:30") to round to nearest half hour. Use =CEILING(A2,"0:30") to round to next half hour.
I think before this code you can add one more line, which may solve your problem.

Application.DisplayAlerts = False

The above should suppress the Save prompt, but you will need to remember to turn DisplayAlerts back on again afterwards or Excel will retain this setting for other files while Excel remains open.

Code:
Application.DisplayAlerts = False
Workbooks(strSourceWorkbook).Close SaveChange:= True
Application.DisplayAlerts = True
