vba sum range

LastRow2 = Range("A50000").End(xlUp).Row
Range("A40").End(xlDown).Offset(0, 11).Value = "=Sum("M23:M" & "LawRow2")"

I am trying to sum M23 to last row of M but it is not working correctly. Is there any way to fix this code to work?

Two things:
- You misspelled LastRow in your formula
- Do NOT put variables between double-quotes. Anything between double-quotes is treated as literal text.

Try:

Range("A40").End(xlDown).Offset(0, 11).Formula = "=Sum(M23:M" & LastRow2 & ")"
