VBA transfer column to master sheet

I have a club race sheet which takes all entries into a race and at the end of the race is used to assign points to those who started the race.

Not all Club members start the race.

At the end of each race I want to transfer the results column to the master sheet (in the same file) to the next available column - each column is a different race and the race day, location and distance all get transferred to the top of the column. First column is the entire Club membership list

Because not every Club member goes in every race I cant figure out how to take each race entry, scan the membership list and place the race result in the race result column for that race.

Also, I want to then make a copy of the race sheet and paste it values only to a new workbook, just as a back-up. Each time the sheet is pasted, it creates a new sheet named by the race date.

Any help would be really appreciated
