Very Difficult IF/ Logic Question

Hi All,

My issue is as follows,

I need to create a formula that says if it breaches a threshold (e.g. 5%) then you need to disclose. But if it breaches the additional threshold of (e.g. 1%) then you need to disclose also.

If a number was above 5% then you would disclose, but you would also disclose if it was above 6% (additional threshold) and 7% and 8% and so on and so on.

It also needs to work the other way so that if the number was 8.1% but then it dropped to 7.9% you would need to disclose.

I appreciate that there is likely needed multiple steps, formulas and columns to get this to work.
