Hi there,

Would anyone be able to help with a formula I am struggling to work on.

Attached is a spreadsheet I am making, there is a set list of media types in column D, I would need a formula to lookup column D and depending on what media type is present look at column G and total the number of plates needed for each replicate. For this example HTM and GC+VITOX would have to total 4.

Is this possible and if so, what formula would I need to achieve this.

Many thanks,

Show numbers in thousands?
Use a custom number format of #,##0,K. Each comma after the final 0 will divide the displayed number by another thousand
Glad to hear you figured it out.
