HI All -

I am trying to perform a VLOOKUP on a value A. Once I find that value A in a range, I need to also check if value B or value C exists in that row under a different column.

I've searched a few threads regarding Index and Match but I'm sure its what i need.

Any help is much appreciated!

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Without a sample of the data and an expected outcome, it's impossible to advise.

So basically, I just to look through the data, find ID A and confirm if they are assigned to value "apple" or value "Pear". If yes, then Y. If no, the N. In this case, my cell would populate Y because A is assigned to either Apple or Pear.
