Vlookup formula to return picture instead of text

Hi all,

I have an issue that is bugging me on a project I have been working on.

I have a top 10 list of revenues by each category for every month of 2010 and the previous months 2011. As there are more than 10 categories this will be changing every month. The way I want to look at it is with a icon (instead of the name of the category) for each category and its revenue next to it.

I know it's a very simple vlookup to return the name, but it seems far from simple replacing that name with an icon.

If anybody has any experiences of this type of request, do you have any suggestions for me?

Thanks!

N.B - I have tried this using the 'Name Function' offsetting function which chooses a picture from a drop down menu but as it is for such a large amount of top 10s I think it would be too manual and hard to maintain.
