vlookup & indirect

Hello

I select the relevant sheet using a data validation list in cell C7.

I then choose a lookup value in cell C13. This value will be found in the first column of the table in each of the sheets.

In each of these sheets there is a table in cells AI5:AN35.

I want to find the value directly to the right of the lookup value (2nd column) in the table on the appropriate sheet.

I think it is a combination of VLOOKUP and INDIRECT but I cant get the brackets or " or ' correct. I'd appreciate any help

Try...

=VLOOKUP(C13,INDIRECT("'"&$C$7&"'!AI5:AN35"),2,0)

thanks perfect. Sorry that I seem to have asked very simliar questions but the wee ""'s and ''s confuse me
