Weirdness abounds today

3 issues started at once today after having a VLookup running flawlessly for almost three years. I can't find the problem.
1) Started getting an error message when saving my workbook "Excel cannot complete this task with available resources. Choose less data or close other applications."
2) When I click through that I get another error message "Unable to save external link values."
3) My trusty Vlookup now returns #N/A for any item located in a row >7725

Formula looks like this
=VLOOKUP(F32401,'[Production.xls]Sheet1'!$A:$V,22,FALSE)

Anyone got an aspirin?

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
See http://www.decisionmodels.com/memlimitsc.htm for an explanation of what usually causes this.

To fix it, consider using INDEX/MATCH instead of VLOOKUP and limiting your ranges. If you're doing 32401 VLOOKUPs each referencing 22 entire columns, you're storing a lot of data in the memory and might eventually hit Excel's memory limit.

Code:
=INDEX('[Production.xls]Sheet1'!$V2:$V500,MATCH(F32401,'[Production.xls]Sheet1'!$A2:$A500,0))
