VLOOKUP PROBLEM

Hi there.

I have a wee problem that I need resolving....

EXAMPLE

Cells A, B and C in row one have a figure in each using VLOOKUP. However, cell B has #N/A which is what I want - so no error with that.

The thing I need to resolve is in cell D I want it to add up A, B and C, but because one of the cells says #N/A it returns #N/A as the answer.

I want cell D to calculate A, B and C and if #N/A appears in any cell, ignore it.

Is this possible?

just use an if statement with an ISNA check:

=IF(ISNA(A4),B4+C4,IF(ISNA(B4),A4+C4,IF(ISNA(C4),A4+B4,A4+B4+C4)))

=IF(ISNA(SUM(A1:C1)),"",SUM(A1:C1))
