vlookup question?

Hi
This is pretty simple but im not too familiar with it.
I would like to take a value from one sheet (always O4) and return it to a different sheet and different cell each time.
eg.
files 5102 5103 5104 have different values of O4 and i want to return that values to my minstopharddata.xls

anyone know how

You are going to have to elaborate.

Don't understand why your taking a value and placing in in a different sheet and cell each time? What triggers where it goes and when?
