Hi there
I have a list of tab names on a worksheet in a column that I want to incorporate into my vlookup but don't know how to do it.
So, for example my list of tabs (and cell refs) are:
A
1 Tab1
2 Tab2
3 Tab3
These names are the same as the tab names in my spreadsheet.
I want the vlookup to be =vlookup("Ref1",'Tab1'!A1:B50,2,0)
However, I don't want to have to change the formula 'Tab1' to 'Tab2' etc manually, I want the formula to link into the cell with the tab reference in it, so instead of typing in 'tab1' each time, I can put the reference A1, A2 etc so I can just copy the formula.
Can anyone help please? I'm sure there must be an easy way I've never worked out?
Thanks
Paul
