Hello

I need to match cell values in 1 sheet with cell values in another sheet.
If the same name occurs in the two sheets, I need to copy the corresponding row in column E to the column where I type in the formula.

Can anyone help with with that?

So I have 2 columns.

Column Q (in sheet 1) and column A in sheet 2.
I need to search those to columns and see if there is a match, if there is a match, I need to return the value from column E in sheet 2.

I have tried with this one but I can't get it to work, probably an easy question, if so, sorry about that.

=VLOOKUP(Q2,Sheet3!A2:A71,4,TRUE)

In sheet 1 I have a table, which I have to update every month so it will have more rows.

kind regards.

Bit confusing about whether you are looking on 'sheet 2' or 'Sheet3' but try something like this.

=IFERROR(VLOOKUP(Q2,Sheet3!$A$2:$E$71,5,FALSE),"")
