Is there a way to use a Vlookup table or something similar that would pull Values as wells as Formats? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Excel Facts

Does the VLOOKUP table have to be sorted?
No! when you are using an exact match, the VLOOKUP table can be in any order. Best-selling items at the top is actually the best.
You can return the format of a cell with the following formula:

=CELL("FORMAT",A1)

You can find out what the code means by looking up the CELL function in the Excel help menu.

I don't know if you can use this formula with a VLOOKUP. When I tried, it didn't work. Maybe someone else knows...

Welcome to the Board!

A formula won't change cell formats unless you're using Conditional Formatting. You'd need to use VBA. The most likely candidate would be the Find method to replicate your VLOOKUP, then either apply the format of the found value directly or Copy-->Paste Special-->Formats.
