Hello All:

I was trying to use VLOOKUP to extract items in a spreadsheet sent to me for editing. There's a small green comment which states "A value is not available to the formula or function". Can anyone provide assistance. What does it mean and how do I get the VLOOKUP to work?

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.

What does the cell itself show ?
Does it show
#N/A ?

If so, this probably means that the lookup value can not be found in the list.
