I have some large reports I get from a vendor and with my Excel 2003 I kept getting this error around row 49,000.

Warning: Excel converter page limit of 1000 exceeded.

I upgraded to Excel 2007 in order to avoid the 65K row limit and I thought I would avoid this converter page limit. I still get the converter page limit error at row 49004.

It seems the vendors version is different from mine, otherwise there would be no conversion necessary. Is that what is happening here. Is there any way to determine the Excel version the vendor is using?

I googled the exact error, but found nothing. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Thanks
